Accomodation

An enjoyable part of Horsecamp is the opportunity to meet new friends and share a story, especially in the evenings. There are a range of different accommodation options for riders who are staying over at Active Riders. The most popular types of accommodation are either horseboxes, caravans, tents or local accommodation. Most of the venues have suitable places for tents to be pitched or Caravans to be sited. Most also have toilet, shower and dining facilities.

The Alvanley Arms Inn (recommended accomodation for Kelsall Hill)

We have seven individually designed guest bedrooms with wonderful views of the Cheshire countryside. Each room has a character and charm of its own retaining the original beams. Fine fabrics and prints adorn the tastefully furnished rooms. They all have an en-suite bath or shower, colour television, tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer.

After a full English breakfast, if time permits, Alistair and Janet are always pleased to personally show residents their Shire Horses.

Coppice Edge (recommended accomodation for Somerford)

Comfortable accommodation and a high level of service in our family home, located in a tree-lined lane just outside Congleton. We offer full English breakfast - early or late - with homemade bread and marmalade.

We are able to provide a number of services that may be of particular interest to our horse-riding guests:-
