Active Riders enjoy attending residential Horse Camps, Courses at Top Trainers Yards and One Day Workshops in a number of disciplines. Register to receive an email when new events are available by entering your email address in the box on the left.

Our events are beneficial for competition riders or amateur riders, our non competitive approach creates a superb atmosphere.

Attend and our excellent coaches will train you, we will provide you with great company and surround you with top class equestrian facilities. Our events are professionally run and while your with us you will get lots of opportunity to progress and learn.

We specialise in Dressage, Cross Country, Show Jumping, Showing & Trec. To keep our events interesting, we constantly vary our content and our coaches, in 2009 we have a great assortment of visitors, you decide if you want to enjoy them in optional activities. One to one nutritional analysis, course walks, reiki, side saddle, positive coaching (NLP), animal communication, sports massage (human & equine) to name a few!

We also run exclusive training events or camps on behalf of individuals, clubs or organisations – just contact us to discuss further.

People attend our events for different reasons:

  • those looking to improve
  • those bringing on a young horse
  • moving up the competition ladder (ie: Intro to PN etc)
  • moving onto the competition ladder (ie: First BE/Dressage/SJ/Search for a Star etc)
  • cementing a new horse/rider combination
  • kick starting horse and rider
  • those who want to socialise with their horse in tow!
  • those who want to enjoy quality time with their horses and friends

Our innovation is endless - in 2009 we are working on improving riders by introducing video analysis into some of our events. In 2010 we have many more exciting formats and we welcome ideas and suggestions. Register with us to be kept up to date with our activities and plans.

Experience in developing and organising this highly motivational style of training was gained from Active Riders proprietor being one of the founder Directors of HorseCamp – the pony camp experience for Grown Ups!

Active Rider is modern and a forward thinking organisation, our unique formats and ideas are sometimes imitated but never bettered. We should be flattered eh!
