Bishop Burton College

Bishop BurtonBishop Burton College is located in Beverley, East Yorkshire, and has achieved a national reputation for the quality of its equine courses. Only three colleges in the land have been awarded CoVE status for their equine courses. Bishop Burton College is proud to be one of these colleges.

The College has some of the finest facilities in the UK. Work has just been completed on new stables and a new livery yard for student horses. There are three riding arenas, two of which are indoors, with the outdoor arena being floodlit. There is also a fully equipped equine therapy room, solarium, treadmill, horse walker, large tack room, forage barns, cross country schooling paddock and no less than four British Eventing cross country courses.

The equine unit is also a British Horse Society examination centre, and is approved by the BHS to train up to BHSI level. Bishop Burton College is also designated as the regional centre for the Talented Athletes in Equestrianism Scheme, with selected students receiving scholarships for training and development.

These superb facilities really need to be seen at first hand to be appreciated.
