Active Rider JUMP CAMP : £FULL

 Welcome to the GOLD STANDARD in Horse Camps!

Kick start your summer with this themed Jump Camp with highly motivational coaches. Optional flat work for Jumping lessons on the Friday with a continuation of learning into Saturday & Sundays jump coaching. This camp is a must for anyone who rides to jump. All levels most welcome.

Flu vaccines:

You can attend if your “booster” was within 7 days of camp.
You cannot attend if you have started a new course of vaccinations within 7 days.

New Course of Vaccinations:

A new course consists of 3 vaccinations.
You can attend after the 2nd vaccination has been administered (this is approx. 4-6 weeks after the first jab)

Friday pm - Flat work for Jumping:

Friday coaches:

Optional group Friday lessons are £25 per rider per lesson. Flat lessons are led by a jump coach - build on these sessions for the weekends training. 1 hour duration


Saturday & Sunday - XC & SJ lessons


SJ Coaching: 1 hour duration each session, Sat & Sun - in small/effective group sizes

XC coaching: 1 Hours duration, each session, Sat & Sun - in small/effective group sizes

What you get for your money on this Jump camp:

  • 2 hours training SAT & SUN, 1 hour duration per lesson.  (1 x SJ & XC on both Sat & Sun)
  • Stable, 2 x bales shavings, haylage all weekend
  • 2 x pm meals cooked on site by a professional chef
  • Bacon & bread roll or pastrys am  -  simple but filling food
  • Optional extra flat work for jump training on the Friday
  • We sometimes use Rider and Trainer radios at camp! You may experience them in use for some of your lessons.
  • Optional 1-1's with visiting specialists and workshops
  • Emails sent to you showing a Draft riding timetable, Draft Stable plan, then a Firm riding timetable. ie: no surprises with us!
  • (NB: new rule from Somerford - no stallions allowed on camps)

We have lots of specialists, experts and workshops in attendance at our camps.  We do not to publish to the internet actual specifics.  This is only because it is widely known that Active Rider run the best and busiest events in the UK and publishing the detail helps people who try to copy us!
