Dani Paizis

Dani Paizis
Dani Paizis is an equine and canine back care specialist, holding a Masters in McTimoney Animal Physical Therapy graduating from the University of Wales in 2007. Dani is also a BHS AI and has a BSc Honours Degree in Equine Science from Bishop Burton College.
Dani travels throughout Yorkshire and surrounding areas, treating horses and dogs who are suffering from musculoskeletal injuries which are a major cause of back pain. These injuries can result in a loss of performance and reduced quality of life.
Dani uses a blend of skeletal manipulation, massage therapy and passive and active stretching programmes to promote healing, mobilise joints, reduce pain and improve innervation. The success of her approach relies on identifying and addressing the causes of a musculoskeletal injury as well as successfully treating the symptoms.
This integrated approach to physical therapy means Dani works closely with other equine specialists including vets, farriers, nutritionists, saddlers, dentists, behavioural trainers and human physical therapists.
